Who is Sue Kolve?

Sue opened her first salon in 1985 with 300 clients and no employees. Over the years, the business outgrew its 1,800-square-foot space. In May 2002, Sue opened a brand new 6,500-square-foot salon and day spa. Subsequently, the business has grown to a staff of 40.

Sue Kolve's Salon & Day Spa™ has a client base of 7,000 and is one of Redken's top 30 salons in the nation, a status they have maintained for more than a decade. The business was selected at 2003 Salon of Distinction by Modern Salon magazine.

Sue believes in her people and offers a 401K profit sharing program, health insurance and education for her employees.

In September 2006, Sue opened The Salon Professional Academy, a Redken affiliated salon training center.
